Roxy, the owner, was amazing! We brought our mother in law for a late birthday celebration, and regardless of how packed it was, Roxy went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our night. Amazing food, great service— all this because of a GREAT owner! My mother in law loved her birthday celebration!

I really enjoyed it. I went with my family I think on a Tuesday or Wednesday. I think it was one of the days where they had the mariachi band playing outside. All and all it was a great great time.

Amazing food only problem is they're younger servers need to have more patience

Everytime we get down here to visit family we never go out to eat. The family always cooks. Theo said let's go get some lonches, and so we did. Awesome kind of hidden little place here!

Cute restaurant atmosphere but the food was bland. Absolutely NO seafood of any kind and you have to eat with plastic utensils. The beans they brought out in styrofoam were pretty good but really salty.

Consistently very good. Cute location. Some of the best chalupas and tacos I have had in years. The fresh preparation shows. Go in the evening or night for a pretty & festive lighting addition. I stop here anytime in the area

Great Mexican food. But they add a surcharge for credit card or debit card usage and don't tell you. Always check your receipt!

Love the atmosphere. Food is delicious. Love all Mexican decorations! Plus they also sell some Mexican candy and items. This place makes me happy. Everyone is very nice.

Excellent food, great service, beautiful ambiance...perfect dining experience.

Really difficult to order through phone and was missing half my order. When I finally was able to get through to let them know I was missing food, they just said "I was wondering why this was still here" only to go back and get the same food that was already cold. I assumed they would have remade the order but I was sadly mistaken. I then remembered why I had stopped going there before.

We stopped because of the way Nana's was painted and decorated outside. Inside was a little more subdued, but clean and spacious. We had excellent service and the food was Great. My wife had chalupas and I had Lonches, and both orders were very good.

Beautiful place the only reason I won't give 5 stars is due to them not providing a baby changing station:( Food was good and they have a variety of options. A lot of the things we ordered that day were out of stock but it's understandable due to the pandemic. I definitely do plan to visit again but I really do wish they can place a baby changing station

A very good place to eat, we sat outside, the flus were bad but the service is good, and their food is good, and very resonable price, u get a lot of food.

I love it here. Their Strawberry 🍓 Margaritas 🍹 are awesome.

Never again!!! Terrible service! No one seems to know what they are doing. They stand around staring at each other like they have no sense. They sat us and no one came to take our drink order. Yet everyone coming in after us got service immediately. We finally got service, our drinks, and food. They never came back for refills. Went to go pay up front and they gave us our bill, asked us to step aside to pay, and then walked off to the side only to stand there and stare at each other again. You couldn’t pay me to go back!

Great lonches & tacos! Most authentic without crossing the border to Mexico. They even have all the mexican soda flavors. Service is great, never had a issue there. They even have a store front now with mexican candies, jewelry & trinkets.

Ate dinner here last year with our rv group. I'm not big on Mexican food but was very happy with the Mexican burger. The entertainment was phenomenal. Very talented group of musicians and singers that made the audience a part of their act. Worth going there for ambience alone. Beautiful patio setting. Came back this year and planning to go there again.

I have driven by this place many times and had never stopped, but this time we were in the area, and decided it was about time. It's a lovely place to visit. I just love the old Spanish and Mexican decor. I found myself taking lots of photos. It's so beautiful. The only thing I did not like was the very limited parking. It was also very difficult to find the entrance. Other then that, the food was great. Everything I tasted was awesome. The staff are very accommodating and always making sure you were taken care of. This is a wonderful place to be intimate or have a party. I definitely recommend this.

Best restaurant in the valley! Lonches are amazing. Beautiful outdoor patio with mariachi on weekends. Very fair prices. Can't say enough about it

Their salsas are some of the better restaurant salsas I've tried out there. Love the habanero one, it's definitely spicy, but also full of flavor.

Nice atmosphere. Outdoor seating good food. Service was eh. But overall above average.

2nd visit and it was the worst... Tacos with just meat .... And they put onions 😬😬😬😬 I was so disgusted

Amazing food, but their hours are not as advertised. On Saturday when I tried to go at 9:40, there was a worker outside denying entry to parking lot. "We typically close at 9:45, but it was slow, so we closed earlier." The sign says open until 10pm on Saturday. A respectable company will be open when they say they are open.

Simply the best place to go in the Rio Grande Valley for authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is in a home that was renovated into a beautiful restaurant. We were happy to see that they have added more parking, as that was the only drawback to dining here. The grounds are beautiful with lovely patios and plants everywhere - even the roof has pots on it! The tables are nice wood with inlaid tiles. The decor inside is especially nice with white stucco-like walls, light pinkish tones bricks and the exposed wood trim on the windows and ceilings are a beautiful light wood. The menu has a wonderful variety and the prices are very reasonable. The food is fresh and tasty. We ordered bistek tacos that were nicely seasoned with cilantro and served with sauteed onions. You can order avocado with it for 75 cents more. I did and was pleased with that addition. Even the soft taco shells were freshly made! Overall a great dining experience.

Went there because we won a certificate at an expo. Food and margaritas were very bland. Worst meal we've had in valley. Ate inside. Table dirty. Menu sticky. Do not recommend

Had lunch with family... I thought we were going to have a bad experience after they seated a bigger group before us. However, they seated us right after and gave us a complimentary chips and cheese dip, which tasted good. There are limited but good choices to choose from. The food is well priced and tasted delicious. Service is excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Ordered the Lonches 20 for $20 deal. The order was in a pizza box and lonches were circles with bistek inside and the cabbage, cilantro, tomato and extra charge of $5 for avocado in the center. Not sure why they didn't finish making them so you can just put salsa and eat.

Very accommodating to our group of seven. Sat outside in sun and out of wind as was cold weather. Very e joyable. Good food and excellent waiter.

I love how this place is decorated. We sat outside and the atmosphere was wonderful. Some of our guests used the sombreros available .The food was, as usual yummi.

This place is a hidden gem. We're from Houston and let me tell you the food was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and the atmosphere is like no other, super chill and warm.

Beautiful restaurant with lots of nice decorative flourishes. I have only eaten there once but the food was very good! It was a cold drizzly evening when we went so we couldn't eat outside as we would have preferred (because it's so lovely!) I would go back there in a minute if am back in that area.
